1. Making the years planning with clients, according last year sales amount conduct sales forecast, planning and handle all analysis reports, according to each cooperative garment factory good at product items and the raw material lead time booking capacity with garment factory before the development of the coming year. Follow up and renew the planning monthly with clients and cooperative garment factory. Proven experience in plan, prioritize and influence at all levels. Make sure enough capacity for all PO received and will receive. Make sure the PO delivery safety.
2. According the newest fashion trend, sourcing the styling, fabrics, trims and share with clients. For exploring sales opportunities and expanding business. Partners with Client’s brand Design, R&D and key suppliers to develop innovative and quality product. Assist in sales & marketing programs and activities. Participate in projects and assignments of diverse scope merchandise sourcing knowledge.
3. Supervise a team of merchandisers to enhance efficiency, make sure development sampling, initial costs on time. Manages costing and negotiations, tracking proto samples comment, fit approvals, lab dip approvals. Confirm the garment FOB price and delivery with Clients. Checking PO from clients and make sure it is correctly. Manages proto sample, fit sample landing into approval for bulk production. Response to the profit & loss of business and report to General Manager. Taking responsibility for owning and driving In-Season KPIs.
4. Negotiate and confirm the material price and quality (fabric and accessory), material production lead time with China or foreign supplier. Supervise the teams update all materials on “ERP” system and issue the PO to suppliers. Partners with suppliers, QA and technical teams to resolve quality issues if have. Checking all materials is well meet all kinds of test request before hand over to our shipping forwarder. Tracking teams collect necessary documentation for merchandise payment to ensure the on-time delivery. Organize all the materials hand over to forwarder and ship to Vietnam factory for produce the garment on time. Resolves issues within a timely manner while working to continuously improve and create internal and external processes and procedures. Analyze situations and proactively suggest solutions to meet deliverables. Manage the business relationship with the suppliers involved in their business category to maximize sales and profit. Monitor sell-through and deliveries of all vendors and take decisive action to deal with their performance. Train teams in all aspects of their merchandise including product knowledge and visual presentation in person.
5. Negotiate and confirm the CMPT, delivery with Viet Nam garment factory, Visit the Viet Nam factory if needed. Supervise the teams issue the garment PO to Viet Nam garment factory.
6. Join the PP meeting with clients. Join PP meeting with factory. Work closely with our QA and follow up quality issues. Supervise the team work very closely with garment factory Merchandising Team on orders follow-up, product quality and delivery arrangement related issues. Coordinate with factory to fine-tune the balance between requirements of client and actual technology of related factory.
7. Arrange Client’s visits. Onboard new garment factory or material supplier and provide training to existing garment factory or material supplier along with supporting the evaluation process.
8. Tracking the PO on time delivery, tracking the clients on time payment. Handle clients complaints if have. Other assigned job from the GM.
9. Responsible for hiring, team/individual development. Accountable for departmental/team execution and results.
